COCKTAILS

In the period of history known as Prohibition, there was a ratification of the 18th Amendment of the U.S.Constitution. This banned the manufacture, transporation & sale of intoxicating liquors. Luckily people brought recorded cocktail recipes from that time and we are able to enjoy then today.
FRENCH 75  16

Dating back to the First World War and named after the French 75mm field gun.
Lemon, Simple Syrup, Gin (or originally Brandy), topped with Champagne.

BEE'S KNEES  16

This drink was famed by the unusual ingredient honey, which was a sweet treat at the time.
Whisky, lemon, honey and orange juice

MARY PICKFORD  16

Named after the silent movie actress whilst visiting Cuba
White Rum, Pineapple Juice, Maraschino Liquer and Grenadine.

CORPSE REVIVER #2  18

Known as a hangover cure, to revive the corpse
Gin, Cointreau, Vermouth, Lemon and Absinthe rinse

MINT JULEP  16

First served as a medicinal drink in the late 1700's, this drink stood the test of time becoming the official drink of the Kentucky Derby.
Loads of mint with sugar, crushed ice and of course Bourbon.

AVIATION  16

Originally made with Creme de Violette this drink languished in exile for many years as the colour fell out of fashion.
Gin, Lemon served in a Martini glass with Creme de Violette liquer.

NEGRONI  18

The Bitter Hounds favourite.
Gin, Rosso and Campari or B'stard it up with Spiced Rum, Montenegro and of course Campari.

TOMMY'S MARGARITA  18

Named after the famous Tommy's in San Francisco.
Using Agave syrup instead of orange liquor, helping the Herbaceous notes of the Anejo Tequila shine. This Margarita comes served on the rocks with or without a Salted rim.

SEAFAIRY  18

With the colour of the sea and he addition of Absinthe this fruity cocktail is an interesting try and try again.
